Concieved in New York City, born in Minneapolis and reared in Billings(below the ditch) I led and pretty normal life. I have one sister (megan and who is married w/ 2 kids and on the West Coast as well) who will tell you her life was scarred by me having a bathroom in my bedroom. My parents (Les & Janet) were your normal parents. Both worked in the Corporate world. Both working for the Man and also creating their own Empires in Billings. Both now have left left Billings for the West Coast and are an Artist and Writer.

I went to Broadwater, Eastern Elementary then off to Lincoln Junior High and Billings Senior High. All in Billings, Mt. I did a stint at Shattuck St. Mary's School in Fairbault, Mn. 55 miles from my birthplace.
That was load of fun. Somehow I graduated and fled to Powell, Wy and studied there for a semster and then boogied up to University of Montana. I spent summers in Yellowstone & Teton National Parks cooking in the restaurants. Finding that I had a knack for cooking and not getting burnted (too much), I went to Western Culinary School. I did end up with 18 stitches combined on both hands.
Cooking was my exsistance for about 8-9 years. Lots of fun, cooked in Billings, Missoula, Yellowstone (Photo was after the Big Fire @ Firehole River) & Teton NP, Yuma, AZ, Seattle & Portland. Learned a lot at Bert & Ernie's Saloon and Eatery, The Four Season Olympic Hotel, Skamania Lodge and the U of Montana Foodservice.
Fast forward a couple of jobs in technology area viaTektronix, Netscape, Apple Computer, Nike, Lockheed Martin and now Xerox. I have two wonderful kids, a great wife and a few animals. (Picture above)
My passions are still cooking, working on my VW Camper Bus, going to see my favorite bands (Kerosene Dream, Bart Ferguson Band, Dave Coey & The Tremor Guild, Crosby Stills Nash & Young) see photo of me with David Crosby on right and being with friends.
